Frequently Asked Questions 1. Are the helmets D.O.T.? Yes, all helmets used are D.O.T.. 2. Can you see thru the visor? Yes, you can see thru the visor day and night, however it is NOT recommended in the rain. 3. Can I send you my own helmet? Yes, you can directly mail your own helmet to the studio or I can purchase one for you, whatever brand or size you'd like. (Note: The helmet cannot be matted/flat as these usually have a rubberized coating, modular helmets have an additional cost due to complexity of the helmet.) 4. What is the lead time to complete the project? Basic helmets 7-14 days, Novelty helmets 30-45 days or sooner, Motorcycle parts 30-45j days, automobiles *must call*. **When your project is being worked on you will receive emails and photos of the progress until completion.** 5. I have an idea of a design and wanted to know if it could be done, can you custom design something for me? Yes, you can call or send me an email to rek@rekairbrush.com with photos of what you have in mind and it will be quoted. 6.Are sketches available? Rough sketches will be made with a deposit fee. 7.What form of payment do you accept? You can pay securely with U.S. funds through Paypal, Credit card by phone, personal or business checks (14 day clear) or Wire transfers. 8. The price may be over my budget can I get a discount? I try my very best to price accordingly, the more detail, product and labor will definitely be a more costly. I have items starting from low, middle to high. In some cases, if there is an item you really would like, you can send half payment and upon completion you can send the difference! This way I can lock you in and you can save enough to make the payments in two as opposed to all up front. 9. I'd like to meet you and speak of a project I have in mind, how can I do that?
